Szczecin Airport:
Airport Szczecin-Goleniow NSZZ SOLIDARNOSC is an international airport located 40 km northeast of the center of Szczecin on the national road No. 6 (Goleniow - Gdynia) near the village Glewice. Encompasses approximately 1.6 million inhabitants. It is now the ninth Polish busiest airport, number 1 in terms of quantity of the national air.

Goleniow Airport is the perfect point to start a tour of the West Pomerania. From the airport in a short time you will get to Szczecin (about 30 minutes to downtown) and all popular holiday destinations i.e. Miedzyzdroje (about 40 minutes), Swinoujscie (about 50 minutes), Kolobrzeg (about 60 minutes), Mielno/ Koszalin (about 80 minutes). The airport itself is in a short distance to our local motorway A6 and highway S3, which takes you to Gorzow Wielkopolski (about 80 minutes).

Szczecin:
Szczecin is the capital and largest city of West Pomerania. The city itself is mostly known for a sea port, shipyards and marinas. The location of Szczecin is perfect as you can easily driver to the sea shore and cross the border when you travel to Germany.     In the first weeks of March 2012, the ITB, the major touristic event in Europe, took place in Berlin. The biggest plan was to promote some water touristic events. During Ship Races final in 2007 Szczecin was visited by more than 2 million people from Poland and all over the world. The city itself is likely to promote that success and ITB is the best chance to show the world the city.

You can book your flight from Szczecin to Edinburgh with Ryanair, which has been successfully managing flights to Dublin and London for a few years now.
